RECENT VDB LOI WORK

Government negotiations: The TMT team is assisting a Telecom infrastructure company in negotiations with the Myanmar Government to obtain the approvals necessary for its project.

Growing reputation among European DFIs: The Banking and Finance team has advised a European development financial institution on its multimillion dollar loan to a microfinance institution with a presence in Myanmar as well as in other emerging markets.

Oil & gas services: The team is assisting a global drilling services company with its tax and corporate compliance for its market entry.

Power sector M&A: The Corporate and Energy teams are advising a global company on the acquisition of an equity stake in a company with power generating assets in Myanmar.

LNG project: The Energy team is advising a major Asian player in the oil and gas sector in assessing the feasibility of an LNG terminal project in Myanmar, including all regulatory, contractual, land, and structuring aspects.
