Annual Tax & Regulatory Update Seminar – Not to be missed!
30 January 2019, 8.00 am to 5.00 pm
Raffles Hotel Le Royal, Phnom Penh, Cambodia

As we are anticipating that additional regulations may be issued in the coming month, and are also hopeful that further clarity will be achieved on Seniority Payment issues we will reschedule our seminar on 5 December to 30 January. In this way we can ensure that we are able to present the most up to date information to you. The location remains the same (Raffles Hotel).

For those of you who have already registered, please reconfirm your attendance, and advise Kathryn Ortega whether you would like the invoice (if already received) to be amended or reissued. For those not yet registered, please do so prior to 15 January.

Apologies for any inconvenience, and we look forward to seeing you in January.

2018 has been an interesting and dynamic year here in Cambodia. Foreign investment into the country continued strongly, and economic growth is expected to reach 7% by the end of the year. The business community is increasingly challenged by the continuing reforms and developments in the areas of taxation and other corporate and regulatory issues. VDB Loi’s annual update seminar will provide insightful analysis of these challenges to help you understand the impact of the important developments that have taken place this year, and advise on what you need to do to mitigate their effect on your business, or take advantage of the opportunities they present.

Are you concerned about the implementation of the Transfer Pricing Regulations issued in late 2017? Are you aware of the opportunities afforded by the growing number of Double Tax Agreements signed by Cambodia? How are you coping with the increased level of Tax Audit activity we are seeing? Do the new Principal – Agent tax rules affect you, or perhaps present an opportunity to reduce taxes? Will the new Seniority Payment labor regulations impact your business in terms of cost, and potential human resource issues?

This seminar will explore all these issues and other 2018 developments to bring you up-to-date and help you determine the actions you need to take so that your business can continue to thrive as we approach 2019.
