The Government of the Union of Myanmar will seek partners for the operation and modernization of the country’s domestic airports
The Government of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar will seek partners to privatize operations, renovate and upgrade the country’s existing domestic airports within the next few months. Myanmar currently has 33 operational airports, 3 of which are international airports (Yangon, Nay Pyi Taw and Mandalay). The Government has already established JVs with foreign companies for the operation and renovation of these international airports.
